Seems Hill is determined to have him in his line up... He shifted him around all night last night. I dont think he's done too much wrong tbh, but I just don't see where he fits. He's definitely not a winger, he's not much of an attacking midfielder,( though he does cover a lot of the pitch), and so where do you put him? Centre midfield? I 'd still prefer Doyle and Butterfield in there, in a 4:4:2. He's hardly going to be an impact sub ..... I just don't see how he fits in with our line up.
i thought he offered nothing. we discussed it with people around me (lets face it, more entertaining than what was going on) and everyone seems to think he does all the donkey work? i saw running but no tackling, passing or positive movement off the ball. if we wanted a runner we should have just signed Paula Radcliffe.
You can say that for Wiseman and Addison. Hill will not admit that his acquisitions are not doing the job and consequently will play them whatever. Doyle, last season, was our most improved player, yet this season he looks to have gone backward. I wouldn't be surprised to see him leave, along with Haynes before the window shuts.
