Was surprised to see him stay on after the penalty.

Also after he got booked in the 1st half why did the ref give a throw in and not a free kick?

Because the push was off the pitch, ball was already out of play.

The ball was already out of play when they collided for the first card. I was also surprised he didn't get a second yellow for the pen, Afterall he booked their player for our pen.

I'm not sure it was a pen. Minimal contact and their player ran across the front of him before throwing himself to the ground. The ball was running out of play anyway and perhaps that's what saved Perkins from a second yellow.

Would you say that if it was the other way round?

As good a penalty shout ya likely to see imo. I'd be chucking my seat on the pitch if it was us and wasn't given

But the ref said it was therefore Perkins lucky not to get a second yellow.

Straight in front of us. Both players turned at the same time. Perkins ran into his legs, seemed suprised, but a definite pen, in the box.

The ref allowed a lot to go without booking, their player who gave the penalty away got booked for dissent I think

Yeah but since the ball was already running out of play and he was unlikely to keep it in, it doesn't warrant a yellow card. Neither was it intended, unlike for our penalty.
