Birmingham were tonked in their most winnable remaining fixture, burton were crucified, potentially killing any hopes of a resurgence, Sunderland’s draw will feel like a loss, reading lost and got a red, ruling out a player in the run in, Bolton lost meaning if we beat them Saturday we go above them. We narrowly lost while creating decent chances and being unlucky, not the worst night by any means. To the next one.
At this moment in time the objective is survival and I believe the players and manager are making the right steps towards that and deserve our support. The fact we have fans like you that are pissed off we’re not in promotion form is irrelevant.
Sunderland must be feeling sick 89th minute leveller its tight though Saturday is massive but it could easily go to the last kick of the last game.
I don’t think that by saying tonight was a missed opportunity is a whinge at all. It’s simply saying the obvious really. It’s almost as you were at the bottom tonight. (albeit with 1 game less) Had we won the pressure on Bolton, Reading and Birmingham on Saturday would’ve been immense
I'm sure they were all logging onto here during the game. Makes me laugh that people think what gets said on here has some relevance in the real world.
Tbh Conan it’s your constant repetative moaning that gets on my tits, you never seem to post anything even remotely positive. We allknow we have got problems but your constant bellyaching is beyond belief
Last time I checked we were third from bottom and needing to win our game in hand. Oh, and we absolutely stunk in the second half tonight. You sure we are not going to get another spineless performance on Saturday when we really need it?
How anyone can be expected to say anything positive after eight wins in 41 and five months without a home win is beyond me. To each his own. If you don't like what I post - simple solution.
Elation after Saturday, dejection after last night, but nowts changed really because all the other results went for us. I'd have been happy with a point at Ipswich, but even had we got a draw, Bolton would be must win, and still is. I don't think there is a cat in hells chance that we'll "come good" and start beating teams comfortably. We just don't have that quality, and the proof of that is the seasons results and league table. It's going to be a scrap right to the end for all of us.
