Spoke to some people who were going to go and see him in concert for some reason and told them they were wasting their time/money. Sure enough, cancelled tour. Is he even any good when he does stay out of prison / the gutter long enough to turn up? Yawn.

Part of a culture that promotes the use of dangerous drugs to impressionable young people, coupled with the image that you can get away with it. And we all have to live in (and indeed pay for) the society that results. I've not got anything personal against Mr Doherty: I don't think crack users as a whole are a particularly merit worthy part of society.

Played V festival at the weekend - I was at Chelmsford and his band Babyshambles were far better than I would have expected.

But how the hell does he keep dodging jail? He's living a charmed life, to put it mildly.
