Taking the young lad to this game. Is it seating or standing? If its standing is it suitable for a 10 yr old? i.e. will he get a decent view? Thanks in advance.
It's either or, depending on what ticket you get. Seating costs more. Personally I would opt for seated tickets if you are taking your lad for the best view.
To be fair given the fact peterboro is a notoriously good drink I wouldn't risk standing as there will be a lot of well oiled people there and it could be a bit tasty if we score.
Its a decent sized stand at the end with plenty of room to move around if you don't like the company, the seated area is in the corner, you'll not have a problem viewing wherever you are.
Re: Thanks all nt I'm in same situation. Would have liked to take the lad in the standing area, but nowadays there are too many ignorant, selfish people who would not give a monkeys about blocking a kid's view. When I used to stand in the Brewery standas a kid, we used to be pushed forward to the front row to make sure we could all see.
Sit down with a 10 year old and take him some ear plugs 'cos there will be a big following, lots the worse for wear and no doubt plenty joining in with the singing of .... 'yer dad's a lovely person and so are you!', as per last time we played there
Re: Thanks all nt I don't. But you are basically you are saying I cannot stand where I want incase someone can't see?
When we last went We were stood in the right hand corner, plenty of room around us, and a decent view. If you're stood in the middle, behind the goal, your young en would probably struggle to see. I'd opt for standing for the experience, think there should be plenty of room, but don't quote me.
Re: When we last went It's a massive standing area so you could pick a spot near a corner lower down etc to be able to see better.
Re: Thanks all nt No, I'm saying kids should be allowed to get to the front so's not being blocked by some 6ft tall, 4ft wide adult, who's doesn't give a **** because they can see fine. Or would you find it acceptable if I was stood in front of you and put my kid on my shoulders?
