    says a lot for player ambition, if he's choosing L1 over Championship. i'd be surprised tbh. all i've heard is both teams have agreed a fee. spose it depends on the gulf in terms being offered like..

    It depends. I've known us agree personal terms with players before and they've end up signing for somebody else.

    Strange choice. Perhaps he sees L1 as somewhere he can shine but doesn't think he can step up to championship.

    Would have been a decent signing I reckon. Hope we still do. But if he wants to be a bigger fish in a smaller pond then probably will sign for Peterborough

    Exactly. He may well have agreed terms with us too, and is currently deciding which of us he wants to join. Hopefully we get him, but not the end of the world if not.

    Certainly wouldn't go breaking the bank for him, we'll be playing 4-4-2 with two out and out wingers so at the minute I'd see it as Conor being the more creative/advanced central midfielder alongside someone like Scowen doing the dirty work.

    The fact that we've bid over half a million, at least according to reports, for a player that isn't desperately needed makes me wonder whether Conor's agent has indicated he might be looking to move on.
