Had this to say on Twitter; An evening watching pure incompetence, cowardice, cheating & more. Credit to our 10 men though & shift they put in against the odds. Deluded? Completely blind? Both?? Anyway, he's available @DMAC102 for anyone who would like to take it up with him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Bloody hell he doesn't hold back on slating his side does he. Spot on though, they were cheats and cowards and their defence is the most incompetent I've seen all season
Another immersed in the blame culture that prevails in society today. The fact is their performance in the first half was the worst I've seen from any team this season. Their passing was awful, as was their control of the ball. There was no pressing and very little tackling, frankly their players didn't look interested. We could and should have been leading at least 3-0 at half time, with more composure and a little bit of luck. The fact is in the end they lost because Alnwick didn't make a save an nine year old should make. Apparently that was also the ref's fault for booking him for CONTINUAL time wasting.
I'm convinced some of Peterborough's attitude yesterday was to a great degree fired by what their Chairman deemed to be a 'fix' at the John Smith's stadium the year we avoided relegation at their expense. In part Town's behaviour that year was a throw back to when they lost a League 1 play-off final to Peterborough. That year Dean Hoyle, Town's Chairman had a load of T shirts printed to give to the Town fans with the word 'BELIEVE' emblazoned across the front. At their celebrations in Peterborough the United Chairman made mocking comments about those shirts. http://www.examiner.co.uk/news/west-yorkshire-news/video---peterborough-united-chairman-4973386 What goes around comes around.
