Put this on the tranmere thread but though it may warrant a response to this particular item. Has anyone thought of putting a petition forward to the efl. if the season was to be decided by ppg. I’m sure the thousands of fans that support those in the relegation places. ( if there’s one out there point me to it) would sign. People are saying on here they back the board on this issue. Let’s show it. But also there will be thousands of right minded folk, who support those that would end up safe. Would sign it. Why should it be only the clubs that decide. The fans are still the most important, in all of this ****. Money is god to this shower of *****, But God wouldn’t have any any business left without his followers. Maybe one for the media team to get off the ground if one isn’t in place. A nationwide petition
Can’t see the point even if they dock Wendy and Derby points we’d still be bottom, given how many games we’ve won this season to think we’d win same amount from 9 as we have from nearly 40 is bonkers
Please enlighten me. if the proposals were put forward to leagues 1 and 2 how. if those proposals were agreed. Would they not effect the championship without relegation if the league isn’t finished. Or have I read it wrong. I based it on the fact that if the season wasn’t completed in the championship. I am aware that they seek to endeavour to finish regardless of time scale. But still A valid petition for any team concerned. I’m thinking of worst case scenarios. ( so are Struhber and Conway. )
COVID-19: EFL Update put up on our official website on 21 May 2020 suggests that the proposal will be put to clubs shortly. It seems to tacitly acknowledge that curtailment is an increasingly likely scenario. That retains promotion and relegation according to current league standings but retains the playoff games. So your proposal for decisions based on PPG doesn't seem to be one of the proposals put forward for the clubs to consider. I'm not sure why PPG would benefit us anyway unless you take a totally subjective clutch of games to draw your PPG from?
I’m not sure I’m on the right wavelength on this orsen. ppg cannot be of any benefit to 90 +% of clubs. Might as well have, leave as is and promote and relegate those in place. Another obscene idea. To be fair on the play off issues I just assumed. it was on about play offs included in finishing the season rather than just the automatic ones. ( need to brush up on the latest on that one. Thanks for pointing it out) So am I reading into what you’ve said. Is on the scenario. Season doesn’t finish. Play offs will take place. The top two are automatically promoted The play off winners are promoted . We will be relegated based on teams getting promoted from league 1. if has been said irrespective off ppg in Leagues 1 and 2. Promotions and relegations will take place. Please tell me I’ve got that right or I’m fooked as some say. Ps if there’s a petition of fans kicking off against the EFL ideas please let me know.
PPG is still used to decide the final standings after 46 games. That's why Peterborough are up in arms. They'd lose out to Wycombe.
I find it hard to summon up any real sense of indignation about us being relegated without playing the remaining games. We've been dogger and deserve it
I get that SD. I worked out all 4 divisions and posted in a different thread. . If ppg applies. It only affected 2/3 teams. My vote is in the null and void corner in all divisions if not completed.
