Nearly all English. Reveals the healthy state English football is in at the moment. We've not had such a selection of world class players in years.
RE: ? Never thought he would turn into the player he as about 3 years ago. Mourinho as turned him around well.... Had a great season at Chelsea and brought allot into the England team.
RE: ? He has come on hugely and his contribution to the team now is completely different to what it was. I may be wrong, but I'm sure last season had him involved much more then this season? As I say I could be talking from my bottom though. I just thought he started more in 04/05.
RE: ? 2004/05 - 28 appearances 2005/06 - 29 and counting. Hark at me and my Paul D style stats. I think this year has been his best although he was showing his worth towards the end of last season.
Proof if it was ever needed That I talk from my arse. Obviously your stats are wrong though and I am no longer reading your responses. So there! Are you counting court appearances?
RE: Proof if it was ever needed I just made up the stats to look good. (by the way, appearances include court, film premiere and betting shop.) Fabregas looks nailed on to get the Young Player of the Year.
RE: Proof if it was ever needed I would have to agree and I want Rooney to get player of the year. Worth a bet I reckon.
RE: Proof if it was ever needed Nowt on Betfair yet. I heard a whisper earlier in the year (mate of a mate's sister) that Danny Murphy had already won the player of the month prior to being officially announced. I didn't manage to get a bet on but my mate put a few quid on it. Sure enough, Murphy was awarded the player of the month that weekend. I'm destined to be a nearly man.
If you say so , Seems like a slower version of Cristiano Ronaldo to me ( he doesnt contribute anywhere near as much as people think either) , lots of step overs at a very slow pace.
Does score a lot of deflected goals though , so I guess there is an upside.

RE: If you say so , But he doesn't spend the entire game sulking on the wing if it's not falling for him. He does the dirty work in midfield, tracking runners etc. Very fairly gives the ball away which takes the pressure off the back 4 (this will be crucial in Germany) In involved in numerous goals and this season has chipped in with a few himself. I'd rather have him than Captain Showboat any day of the week.
Cole is all step overs , amusingly the goal he set up for Crouch agin Uruguay came as a result of him miscontroling the ball after he was on his 5th or 6th step over.
Squad player at best.
