Re: well that all seems fair enough BBC stats made it look like the Alamo - Did we get out of our half? i was watching the vidiprinter expecting it to tick over to 1 - 0 as we were almost the last game to finish again. Were we lucky or did we put up a spartan like defence?

Re: well that all seems fair enough A good point, a diificult game, in which Palace were really up for it, giving us little totime on the ball. We improved after the first ten minutes or so of the 2nd half, but still had to sustain much pressure. Loved the scenes after the final whistle when virtually the whole team came over, applauding the fans, with Marlon and others throwing his (Palace) shirt into the crowd, with Daws and Sir Bobby stripping off to the waist, and giving their shirt to some young Tykes.
