Probably on chances and based on the saves that Steele made....but that's what the keeper is there for. He'd be better off just saying "well done" rather than comments like that which just come across as a sore loser.
He's just a bitter Scouser Not one ounce of praise for Barnsley came out of his big, sqeauky, Scouse gob.
RE: Probably on chances We had chances and a stonewall penalty apart from the two we actually scored. Any team is going to be under the cosh a bit at one of the so-called big four.
He never ever says anything against Liverpool so I cannot say I am suprised. Just 2 words to say: QUARTER FINALS
RE: Well They were still seperate chances. One that was denied by a blatant foul, the other that was tucked away.
Yes They were seperate....however what I mean is that the 2nd chance only came about because we didn't get the penalty. Sort of like when people talk about disallowed goals etc and then just add those onto the goals you scored...as though it works that way.
RE: Yes The point is you can't add up all the chances you've had and convert them into goals you should have won the game by. That doesn't work either.
It was an entirely separate move, the ball was cleared.
They had4 shots stopped, so say 3 had got through and, going on chances, 4 was fair.
We scored 2 and had a nailed on penalty disallowed. So it's all down to did we create 4 other chances. I'd say we did.
