    Williams Degiviny Pines Mcart Earl.

Presuming Pines is pretty good who would be your 3 from that 5.

Football rarely works like that. Even the National team you have players that play and you think why the heck have they been selected when so and so hasn't.

McCart isn't our player, plus looking at Earl I think he's better in the LCB position. So I'd go
de Gevigney, Pines, Earl. Probably Pines in the middle

    My choice would be
Pines McCart Earl for the run in.
    Big and strong.

Good enough, but my only question is does MDG deserve dropping?

The question is the middle of the three. McCart for his experience, MdG for his ability to bring the ball out, or Pines for aerial ability/pace?

Would be McCart, if his experience translates into organising the defence. That is assuming Pines can play on the right of the three. If he can't, I'd be tempted to move to a back 4 of Williams, Pines, McCart or MDG, Earl.

He does make his fair share of mistakes.

Williams has had a terrible season. His mistakes/lack of awareness has cost us many times this season and yet you'd play him in a back 4? Unfortunately, I'd have dropped him, Club Captain or not

Yes, I'd play him at right back. If we're playing a back 3, I'd play him at right wing back.

I was very surprised at Williams’ lack of pace on couple of occasions against Shrewsbury. He’s lost a yard!

Lets introduce Pines gradually. With a line up like the above, assuming the forwards are sticking the chances away - we will be 5 up by HT. Bring Pines on for 45.

Which defeats the point if him being in the back three really.

Williams has been played out of position all season. Was one of the best rwbs in the division last season. MDG has been at fault for the last 2 goals we have conceded.

I disagree. Williams was at fault for the goal last Saturday and the ball was in the Right wing position.. He's been below par all season

Initially he loses the ball on Saturday so you can blame him but MDG doesn't cover himself in glory when he fails to make a tackle on moncur who squares it for the goal.

Tuesday MDG again failed to make a tackle after commiting himself to win the ball.

TBF I think the coaches at BFC will make the decisions hopefully we can keep a couple of clean sheets.
Pines looks a powerhouse ,chuck him in when needed.
