3-5-2 -----------Steele -----Craine Mvoto Ramage O'brien--------------------RNL ---------Etuhu Digby------- ------------Mellis------------ -------Pedersen O'grady I imagine some wouldnt have M'voto in but from what I saw on Saturday both Ramage and Craine looked weak in the air. I think M'voto, Ramage and Craine would compliment each other well. If not there is Nyatanga to step in. I'm assuming Bobby will never be picked so thats why I haven't included him. RNL has had 2-3 good games at left wing back now so I see no reason he cannot make that position his own. The RWB position is more of a concern as JOB had a nightmare there against both Southampton and Huddersfield. I feel he's the best we have in the position however as Ramage probably isnt suited and Wiseman is shocking every time he plays on the right. On paper our centre midfield looks much stronger with Etuhu and Digby in there. Both have height and strength which is something we've been missing. I dont see any reason not to put Digby (if fit) in there as Dawson and Perkins have been terrible of late. Both have become extremely negative in there play constantly passing the ball sideways. If Mellis can get back to his best he is one the best players in the league in that position. If he struggles to hit form we have some good players in Cywka, Jennings and Mccourt to step in and prove themselves. Upfront O'grady, Pedersen and Scotland are all more than good enough.
We needed someone like big Jean on Saturday, just to try keep Deeney quiet. Too often, we had both Cranie and Ramage trying to thwart Deeney and then Wiseman coming inside allowing the winger the freedom of the east stand side.
