John Stones starts tommorow. All stands singing his name. Stones gets the ball on the edge of there box ... but wait what is he doing... he holds onto the ball a little to long. Supper Sam is closing him down. Stones looks to the right and notice this using his body tp shield the ball. Sam smashes into Stone's leg. Hes on the floor wincing in pain... out for 6 month. No sale no 3 to 6 million quid. Oh no... if i was everton and still had him i think id play him. Absoloutly no chance any of our players would go near him hed have freedom of ground.
Or stones plays and 1 of our players smashes him to him thinking they cant spend that money to replace me, i realise this only equates to 5 players being able to tackle him as the rest aren't ours
Take a deep breath.... And turn the computer off. I can't wish till he's sold so all this can stop, actually scratch that because all we will have is 6 months of nobheads bairning we have either wasted or not spent the cash
If we've got brains, we'll have made sure that through future sales (once he leaves Chelsea/next club) we'll still coin in more money. It's how Rochdale kept profiting from Lambert, O'Grady etc. So no, even if he does leave Everton, folk'll still be talking about him and hoping we're getting even further monies.
Surely the only way we'll get any more is if Everton put in a sell on clause. I am, however, expecting that the usual few on here will be asking why we haven't spent exactly £6m on players within 24 hours of Stones moving. I'd much rather we carry on recruiting cheaply and save the Stones money to offset the losses we are making, to save PC from having to foot the bill every year. I'm sure that if we then go up, PC would be happy to chuck a bit our way to strengthen the squad.
What losses? How is one of the highest income clubs in the division with a squad of kids and loanees making a loss?
