    Pretty fair overall . It would be difficult for Wednesday to see anyone else as rivals when they have a club like Sheff U. in the same city , particularly in view of the average United fan ( the ones that I know at least)
    hating Wednesday with a passion .

    It's not difficult to dislike Donny, their fans turned in to proper cnuts once they'd tasted a bit of success.

    "Success" overused a bit there. The most deprived team of success in the SY area. Poor sods.

    Not really. I'd say getting all the way to the Championship was a massive success for them.

    We went through a spell when we just couldnt beat them until they moved to the new ground, and boy did they like to rub it in, as did their cheesy grinning chairman Ryan.

    A few of them now ring radio local radio and are full of it. After a win, one of them actually said "we were so good today, we would have beaten any of the local sides"

    Back in the 4th division where they belong.

    I tried to tell a a couple of Blunts fans at work that if they were honest with themselves there could be no doubt of the SY pecking order.
    Even though we've probably averaged a higher league than the Blunts over the past 20 years and there have been odd flirtations from Donny, the real pecking order was:-

    Wednesday
    United
    Barnsley
    Rotherham
    Donny

    They went ballistic and argued that they had more seasons in the Prem than Wednesday (Did they?) and historically were on a par. I couldn't be arsed to look up any stats but talking to both sets of Deedars at work, the Wednesday lot seem to have more of a general knowledge about football outside of their own club.

    In the 38 years since I started watching the reds, neither of them have broken any pots in terms of top flight football, but I'd say Wednesday had spent more time up there than the blades, so I make you right on those standings.

    Blunts 5, and also a hell of a lot of scratching about in the lower leagues over that time.

    I've never really taken any umbridge with Wednesday, they are just there. Sheff Utd however are just despicable little turds who can have an argument at the bar with you and promptly bring out 2 books about it. Strange fellows indeed.
    I don't really think we have any kind of different rivalry with either, it's probably just down to personal choice and experiences.
