According to look North, theWednesday ground is a proper mess, what with water and sewage everywhere, including the tunnel into the players' changing rooms. The pitch looks like it will have to come up and be relaid. With not enough time before the new season starts, there's a possibility of considering a temporary ground shareat Bramall lane.

Let them play at the 'Well until they're sorted. For a fat fee, of course.

    Don Valley?

Don Valley was not designed as a football stadium and there would be problems in keeping the fans segregated.

Let them use Oakwell so we can generate enough money to buy a decent player or two at the Fowls expense.

    (wicked)

    My thoughts exactly.

Crowds of up to 4,000, they can keep the gate receipts. Anything greater than that, plus the away takings, goes to the club so kindly helping them out.
