Need to know before I travel tomorrow. I was always under the impression that it was Wednesday that were the real deal in the Pig Derby due to Hillsborough being on the site of a former piggery. Wednesday fan I met on holidays reckoned it was the United lot because of the "streaky bacon" they play in. I wouldn't buy that one tbh, just sounds like retaliation to me. Or are they both entitled to be called pigs And note, i've purposely made no reference to the fun-loving, happy-go-lucky SYP Force who will be promoting love & world peace tomorrow as normal
Funnily enough ...Wednesday fan didn't like it one little bit. Naturally, I did it more. What wound him up further was that it didn't bother me in the slightest being called a sheepsh@gger. Couldn't get his head around that one
RE: Both You can count on it Don't fancy our chances at all tomorrow btw, too many injuries at the moment. We'll see though. Last minute decision to go - couldn't refuse their £10 offer!
Both mixed up deluded pigs. It was Wednesday originally though but they're so thick they decided to call the blades the same name too, because they couldn't think of anything, a bit like they call us Dingles when the Dingles are Burnley and have been all through the 90's.
Me too ...not that confident though, picked up another 3 injuries midweek to add to our ever-growing list. Would settle for a draw tbh but, thankfully, Ross McCormack is on fire so you never know.
Work in Sheffield and had the same arguement Wendys and Blunts asked me who I called the Pigs. I said Wendy's, and had a right arguement about it.
