Only been back 2 mins & already the rubbish is piling up. How can they be allowed to repeatedly enter a site that has been declared a monument to the Town's Industrial past? The law's an ass in this instance.

The council should erect some concrete bollards

to prevent the Barstewards getting in.

or adopt a zero tolerance policy on trespass and bulldoze the dirty Barstewards into the Dearne.

    Not Strictly PC of course.

    More bulldozer methinks

As bollards would prevent the site being used for more community-minded events such as the excellent concert held there last summer.

Aye..they'll be freetn'd of hard work

Unless tha tells em that there's aif a ton a' copper wire to dig up & scrap.

    Nivver ceases to amaze me.

I've known pikeys break into undergound tidal sewage works and impossibly remove overnight 15 foot bronze valve shafts from tanks full of *****..maybe mekkin abart 500 notes in scrap.

If thad 've offered the Barstewards a grand to remove 'em for a proper job th'd 've teld thi to knackers.
