If we are cited for it, I think we should all send this to the FA "Some people are on the pitch! They think it's all over! It is now!!" Were England cited that day?
Yes and no. Those idiots who carried on running about before the final whistle then yes. the others, i can understand the joy and the release of tension.
The longer we make excuses for them The longer it will keep happening. Every other club seems to have stopped their fans going on the pitch. With us, it's the end of every season and whenever there's a big match. We never get to celebrate with the players. It needs ******* stopping NOW! Fans should never be on the pitch under any circumstances. End of. If they are they should be arrested, fined and banned from coming to games.
Its pretty simple isn't it Going onto the pitch is illegal, if you are supposed to be on it then the club will invite you onto it, unless they do that then stay off
agree completely get them banned. they're not regulars anyway - idiots that turn up just to get on the pitch. how many of these idiots have memorabilia from doing this. I wanted to see the players after the game and to give them a much deserved standing ovation. happens at the last home game every season - barnsley chavs - great..! (N)
Spot on. Most of them were on the pitch to be seen by their mates or to get their face on the TV. Others simply had to go and taunt the Chelsea fans. Even had some muppets applauding the crowd as though the reception was for them. Ban the lot.
They have to stop Simply that!
Or the club is going to get into serious bother, be fined or worse. Our fans have got to learn that they cannot behave differently to others.
Looking at the pitch on Saturday, apart from the usual teenage village idiots there were grown ups who should know better - some of them with kids in tow. It's just ignorant arrogance and more evidence, if ever we needed it, of the "i'll do exactly as I like" culture.
Perhaps the club should experiment with not selling any tickets in future for the front two rows and cover the entire lot with nets. Loss of revenue yes and a few hundred disappointed fans at big games, but if a small minority are going to behave like kids, then we will all have to be treated like kids.

The Players Don't Help Matters If they had got off the pitch and up the tunnel, the fans would have left much sooner. But instead they allowed fans to mob them.
Don't talk daft The fans were on the pitch within seconds, the players were trying to swap shirts with chelsea fans but couldnt do it properly
RE: The Players Don't Help Matters You fcking idiot. How exactly should individual players have stopped dozens of fans mobbing them ?
You really are a complete fckwit.

As usual You've no idea what you're talking about. You are hereby banned from ever adding to a discussion that I have entered in to on pain of death.
RE: Don't talk daft So the players were incapable of swapping shirts back up the tunnel and swapping on the pitch, was their one and only chance? What about when the players had swapped shirts and were still hanging about?
even by your abysmal standards thats a really really dumb post So the players are supposed to just run as fast as possible to the changing rooms and ignore the 17000 fans who didnt invade the pitch - would have been difficult even then as the morons were on the pitch even before the ref blew for time
RE: even by your abysmal standards thats a really really dumb post The fans in the stands were telling them to "fecking get off the pitch" etc, but it didn't look like the players were doing the same. They didn't have to ignore those of us who didn't break the law. They could have waited until the pitch was clear and then come back out, like they did at Huddersfield in the play offs.
