    Wales (I think) rugby at new Cardiff had similar issues and played a couple of games with no scrums.
    I believe they had laid turf on pallets so it could be stored away and the ground used for concerts etc

    They put the roof on a day or two ago because of the rain and left it on but it’s not rained today so it seems to have been a bad decision

    I'm presuming it's the same as Gelsenkirchen stadium, with the roof they roll the grass outside. Schalke stadium always had a poor surface because of this.
