Pity the ref took so long to wake up.

It was obvious what they came to do, a proper ref would have sussed them earlier and cracked down on all the pushing, shirt pulling and clogging.

What a shabby outfit Rotherham are.

Still ne mind eh? The sendings off brought a little light relief, especially the managers. What a ********.

    I disagree

the ref never woke up, he just lost the plot completly.

Maybe one day our manager will show enough passion and desire to win that he gets sent off. Its unlikely though unless leaning against a post is a red card offence.

    So..

You're complaining that our manager didn't get sent off.

    Aye, alright.

What did people want him to do? He brought our only attacking option off the bench as soon as he could, and its not his fault Nardiello is injured. What do people want exactly?

    RE: I disagree

Their manager is a bell-end of Warnockesque proportions. His game plan alone proved that.

    some commitment

somebody to recognise that the long ball wasnt working (everyone around me worked this out within 10 minutes) and somebody to tel lthe palyers to keep it on the ground. Unfortunatly Ritchie spent 90 minutes with his arms folded leant on the dugout post.

    RE: So..

Tonge was broought on as a substitue and had a nice chance (set up by Devaney).

Ill discipline cost Rotherhan today (just as it keeps costing us against Doncaster). They were winning the game, yet chose to throw it away by being abusive towards the ref (even though they were probably correct). This was mirrored by the manager himself.

The manager is not much use to the team if he is setting a bad example and standing in the tunnel. I would imagine he could think about that when he is sat in the stand with half of his first team. Also, he should have taken Burton off rather than waiting for him to be sent off (and then complaining further).

I couldn't understand the reaction of Williams, though. Rotherham were WINNING and he chose to argue the toss with the referee over a daft free kick. He would not have given him the second yellow had he not argued. Ditto with the manager and Ditto the guy who walked at the end.

Any idea what happened with Williams' first booking?

I did feel sorry for the the Rotherham supporters. But the indiscipline cost your team.

I know it isn't any consolation, but two out of the three Barnsley booking were also for dissent (not for specific fouls). The ref obviously wasn't going to be standing for it.

Good luck for the remainder of the season.

yes mate I called my rov mate, you should have been 3 up by half time. Ill discipline with a crap ref we've been there. Burton deserved to go, williamson, didn't see the 1st card, but I thought the 2nd was for dissent. Your no 6 was very lucky to be on the pitch. BTW I thought you deserved to win and good luck for the rest of the season, beat the pikeys of Donnie for us !!!
