Although not for the faint hearted . Seeing an elephant hunted down and eaten by lions , sickening yet fascinating at the same time .

Love to see lions and tigers hunting - so majestic!

Agreed - but namby-pamby brigade are already out ....

... apparently the lions v elephant scenes were too graphic and we didn't need to see all of the footage up to the 'kill'.

    Pathetic, isn't it ?

    I hated the scene

.. where that scraggy Arctic Fox pinched a Snow goose chick and took it home for the family to tear up and eat.

Still alive and yelling for it's mam, with a perplexed "why the chuff me" sound in it's voice.

    Could have cried.

    RE: I hated the scene

I found that part more distressing than the pack of lions that attacked the elephant calf.

    Very uncomfortable to watch

But , to me , the programme shows wildlife in it's true magnificent form and not some diluted fabrication .

RE: not unlike Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall...

...who deserves time based on himshowing people whst exactly it is that they are eating...then slaughters a chicken in front of them and serves it up the same night. Lovely
