So who would we prefer ?

Lincoln / Oxford looking unlikely so it will be most likely Peterborough, Derby or Bolton.

Some interesting games coming up starting with Derby Pompey tonight and Oxford v Lincoln in a few weeks time.

strangely I would fancy our chances in the play offs whoever we play, as we have such a good away record and the atmosphere of the home game might spur us on.

plus experience of last season will help a few.

Still think we can finish 3rd or 4th so to my mind it will be Lincoln or Peterborough.
Don`t really think it matters too much though as long as we make it.
It`s just a roll of the dice.

Reckon it’s going to be Bolton again. Think Posh v Lincoln in the other tie.

I reckon we've still got an outside chance of automatic if Derby lose to Pompey. Obviously we'd need to win all our remaining games, but I don't think it's completely out of the question. The hugely frustrating thing is that if Derby do lose today then had we beaten Cambridge we'd still have automatic promotion in our own hands.

Plenty of twists and turns yet to come.

When you say 'outside', do you mean, like, Siberia outside?

Id love Oxford to get 6th spot but I think it will be Lincoln who will then go on to win the playoffs
Lincoln are the only side I would really fear the others I think we have a decent chance against so dont really care

Does not matter who we play, this lot will bottle it.

Derby though have an easy run in (on paper)... after tonight they have Wycombe, Orient, Cambridge and Carlisle.

Given our home vs away record, might be better for us to finish 5th or 6th and play the home leg first.

Whoever we play in the play offs, I fancy us , on our day we can beat any of those ,I don't fancy Porstsmouth but that is unlikely now.
Derby fan told me, couple of weeks ago ,we schooled them off the pitch at Oakwell.
On our day we are a good side.
We have been known not to turn up ,in the not so massive games.
Big games we can do it.

Spot on. The last two seasons we've bottled it.

If Derby win today then Uranus outside.
Yep, just seen that. Though at this stage of the season anything can happen.

I respectfully disagree SD. Had it not been for the ref last season who was a disgrace, we would have been promoted

the performance at Wembley was outstanding.

But we often seem to play better against the better sides in more recent games. The 2 sides I fear are Pompey - who will go up automatically and Lincoln - any others could go either way

Completely understand why people are worried about how we might do in the play-offs, but once you’re there owt can happen.

I read where Carlisle out played Lincoln on Monday,More possession, more shots, more corners etc.Obviously Lincoln won but a Barnsley team back to its best should have too much for them.
If I had a choice who to play in the playoffs it would have to be Derby but in all fairness none of them strike any fear in to me.

Lincoln surely can't keep up their current form through to the end of May? If they do then they'll absolutely deserve to go up.
