    I don't know what game Roy was watching if he thinks that was an improvement. 0-0 against footballing minnows that have already qualified and were bubble wrapped for the next round...

    We sacked Capello and Sven because they could only get us to the quarter-finals but we're sticking with someone who can't get us out of the group stage, pretty bizarre IMO

    tbh I want him to stay for the Euro campaign

    and hopefully the deadwood of Rooney etc will be gone, we can then take a look at the young ones coming through... like Our very Own John Boy.

    Costa Rica were their for the draw and got it effortlessly. Hodgson saying how well we played, how we restricted the group winners to few chances. My God, talk about clutching at straws and driving down expectations. Whilst ever we're content with a point against Costa Rica, who were hardly bothering to attack and had rested a couple of players, we'll never return to the top of the International football. I understand today was a young team, with little experience of international football, but we were devoid of any apparent zest or vibrancy. Such a deflating campaign.
