Played footie today, lineup included a couple of legends

......... Blunts legends, but legends anyway I guess in the grand scheme of things.
Messrs Deane and Agana - best years way behind them but they still looked the part. They played for the same reason I did - free pie and peas and a pint in Guiseley clubhouse. Both real gents - even if they are supposedly "enemy".

I'm knackered by the way. Footies hard at 45 on a pitch the size of Guiseleys.

 

Those two were brilliant together - one of the best forward partnerships I've seen . I remember those fa cup games with utd in the late 80's - they were the difference between the two teams. We played in the Billy smart circus kit and they had a fluorescent yellow shirt on 
