Much the better team before the sending off, played the nicer football, created the most chances, and then a proper fists clenched, chests out, backs to the wall performance for the last 35 minutes. Bristol had their chances in that time, but so did we, Harewood could have wrapped it up a couple of times.

I thought Keith set the team up well today. We were lacking a bit of width, but we looked very solid down the middle. After taking a few beatings on the road it was important to be more compact and hard to break down. And we eventually got the goal with a very good move.

Only blot on the day was Hassell's sending off. It was a stupid two-footed challenge, so I guess Hemsworth will be having a wnak about how he let us all down. He's our most experienced player so he really shouldn't have done it, but he'll know that and he'll not make the same mistake again. I think he owes his team mates a couple of pints tonight though.

The rest of the team played well, even the much maligned Wiseman. Stones looked excellent when he came on and made a superb clearance off the line.

Take six points from every four games and we'll be on the edge of the play-offs come May, so all in all it's been a good start to the season.

Well played today Reds. Great day.
