Who's yours? Got to admit not a great choice this year but I'll go for Perkins , Steele 2nd and then er......
Noone stands out Butterfield if fit , Done has been ok along with Davies, O'Brien suffered with injuries - he would have been a contender

Butterfield - single handedly kept us going from August to November.
    Steele - saved us plenty
Davies - good first year at this level.

Then honourable mentions to McNulty, Done, Foster, Perkins, O'Brien, Vaz Te.

It's not easy this season but all things considered I'll be voting for Steele.

Butterfield should be the player of the season for me. Closely followed by Perkins and Steele.

Done, followed by Davies. Steele's done ok but his distribution and kicking remain utter dross, he's done nothing to warrent player of the season other than the fact he's never going to get dropped because there's no real competition.

    Davies for me.

If Perkins wins it will tell me everything I need to know about what Barnsley fans look for in a player.

    Give over.

His distribution has got loads better, he's kept us in games and practically won us points on his own (Forest at home, Reading away come straight to mind) and it's been his most consistent year.

Still not player of the year for me but understand it if he did get it.

Butterfield for me, best player we have had this season and played enough to justify it.

Seriously? I think his kicking and distribution have improved significantly this season.

Jacob Butterfield for the same reason as Dyson.
But would be happy if Steele or Perkins got it

Compare Lukey's kicking with Benjamin Button's - chalk/cheese and that.

Steele, kept us in every game we won this season peterbrough away springs to mind altough we concedded 3 his saves got the team going again.
Matty Done has been outstading think about it this is his 1st season at this level n he just slotted straight in.
Davies, carnt remember the last time a striker got double figures for us (vaz te winger for me) feel for the lad as for some reason hill keeps playing him out wide.

Jimm bob, foster, digby butterfield and gray have all impoved massively under Hill aswell in my eyes.

would not argue with who receives the award do fans get a vote? Think Foster continues to give full commitment and he communicates to organise and encourage others.
