Is it a coincidence that the two players who seem to be on top form over the last few weeks - Hassel and Kay - are the only ones who actually have any genuine competition for their place!
If you call last night good form then the are sunk. They were beaten for pace, muscle, guile and desire. Always wnted Barry Hayles to come to us when he dropped down from the Prem, unfortunately I think he'll never move further north than Watford. What a class act he is, showed how an older player should be, used his vast experience well. If we could afford the wages, this is what I would want in an experienced striker.
