We can only get what's bid for them, players wanted out, one wouldn't even speak to the club. You can blame the board/recruitment team/plan for the incomings but there was nothing they could do to keep Pinnock/Lindsay/Moore.
Notice Crystal Palace didn’t sell Zaha despite him pushing for a move. We had a strong hand on both Pinnock & Moore. We had no reason to sell them unless we had signed players that could adequately replace them. We didn’t and this is why we are here now.
We need mcanthony as our chairman he manages to get over inflated prices for their players unlike us who accept the first offer that comes in
I think not being sold has affected Butlands performances this season. I think Pinnock would have been steady away for us if we d refused to sell but I have a sneaky feeling Moore might not have performed. Who knows?
