    it's not worth all the angst / speculation / vitriol / praise on here -if he didn't go now he'd probably have been off at the end of the season-no player is bigger than the club-look forward not backward

    In the summer he was worth £10million apparently

    Now he's worth a 20th of that.</p>

    The way this whole thing has been handled is the problem imho - not the fact a player is leaving us - despite the fact without his goals last year we'd have got relegated, a mere side issue obviously.

    I'm looking forward .......................

    .......... to some of the ***** players being moved on when we get a new manager .............. I'm not looking forward to us selling one of our best players to our local rivals for next to nowt ...... again
