It's ok blaming the manager all the time and I acknowledge flicker has made some strange decisions this season. But can they honestly look at each other and say they've done enough this season. I think not .!!! P.s get ready usual suspects e.g cotterill Appleton etc
Clearly they had little or no interest in playing for him speaks of the divisions in the ranks. Only Mellis when he came on and Tompole gave a toss.
Thought there performance yesterday was nothing short of disgusting, no pride or passion for the shirt they were playing in
Definitely. Flicker has paid the ultimate price, and I'm as baffled by some of his selections as the next person, but players like Perkins, Kennedy, Wiseman, Mellis, Dawson, were all regulars in the side that played their way out of a relegation place. They have all been nowhere near those levels this season.
None of our players broke sweat yesterday , so different to last season when they played to 110%, and seemed prepared to run through a brick wall for flicker and club .
The pace of our play seems to have dropped . No one chasing/ bothering opponents in possession. That's what warmed eveyrone to the team and to Flicker.
If that's the case mrx, and we know which players were under-performing, they want selling. They should be playing for BFC and not trying 100% is a cardinal sin, in my eyes.
they're professional footballers, paid handsomely, by US. i don't care who the manager is, or whether they like him or not. the second they cross that line, they should give 100%. non-negotiable.
I agree, Flicker had to go but some of our players have been a disgrace recently. Some of them should be feeling very guilty and very ashamed today.
