Thought I'd share this excellent picture of players not being bothered about a pointless competition. <img src="http://www.thestar.co.uk/webimage/1.7609068.1449336301!/image/2623412810.jpg_gen/derivatives/articleMaxWidth_620/2623412810.jpg"/> Photo: Keith Turner
They look proper downhearted don't they. Look at that useless loan player White - obviously not bothered. PS. I criticised Aidy White last week for looking disinterested against the Blades. Sounded like he put a shift in today. They all did. Well done Reds and PLENTY MORE OF IT please
Thanks for the picture Mr Burgundy. I loved it when Adam Hammill after scoring at the empty end of the stadium ran the full length to celebrate with us
Makes a change players doing that, and good to see. Fed up with this wheeling away and heading for the half way line to celebrate with the subs bench and manager. They should acknowledge the fans FIRST, and properly, who are going berserk and applauding them wildly for achieving the superman-like feat of scoring a goal.
I'll tell you what it was brilliant to see the players celebrating at the end! They showed great spirit and if they can keep up with that we don't have to worry about relegation, they showed real heart today!
He was good today was White. If him and Hammill get games together they could click. Hammill needs someone to offer an option on the outisde so he can get one on one with an opposition player.
Kin ell we win a pointless game on penalties, we've been **** all season and now, cos we 2in a game, the players, who single handedly earn more a week than most of us earn a year are 'happy' with a win, Maybe their win bonuses are due at last and they don't really give a **** ... Some people on here need to get a grip, WE ARE BOTTOM OF THE FEKIN LEAGUE ...
It's dangerous to run into your own half to celebrate though, as the opposition can kick off when all players are back in their half.
That's our problem though... One is a short term loan and one is a short term contract. I am loving the upturn in fortunes recently but feels a bit as if we are building a house on sand with the amount of loans and short terms we have
Jealousy is an awful thing. Whether they get paid 10p or 10 million quid it doesn't affect what I earn in a year. Good on 'em I say.
Whilst I would prefer all our own players, I wouldn't worry about it too much, most teams use loanees to a greater or lesser degree, MK Dons promotion team was built on them.
This is all well and good, but why didn't they show a bit more enthusiasm last week in front of a 13,000 crowd? Don't get me wrong, I'm delighted about this result. But I think I'd want to see it backed up a bit more before I'd be getting the bunting out.
Damn, I thought this pic was after our win. Didn't realise it was just after they handed out the payslips.
