Frimpong, Mellis, RNL. The thing that bemuses me about this, is that one week they're playing, next week they're nowhere. I'm still not convinced about Woods, but though Lawrence did a good job today. Our midfield looks more balanced when we're not trying to accommodate Mellis.
Mellis was a big part of the problem in my opinion and I'm glad he's been dropped. Personally I would be getting shut of him in the summer.
Danny showed a lot of faith in Mellis when he took over the same faith a lot of us supporters have over time but for me the end is nigh for Jacob.
Agreed, I think he has undoubted talent, but we have spent way too long this season trying to fit him in, to the detriment of the balance of the team. He doesn't weigh in with enough goals or assists in my opinion.
We've gone from strength to strength. Mellis has spent most of this season jogging away from the ball. The only good game I can quickly think of was Brighton away. Apart from that I'm struggling. One good thing about Wilson is he quickly drops players who aren't performing, even if they're his signings. We'd have been safe this season with him at the helm
