Definitely will do I reckon, at least most. As though you'd not venture on a forum about your personal work performance out of curiosity. How much they care what's said however is open to debate
I know players at other clubs that read their forums, and it how the fans speak about them has a bit if a influence on contract decisions etc. I also know of a player(although not their name) that looked on here last season after we made a bid. Apparently the negativity was part of the reasons he went elsewhere...
Let's find out. Lads - if you're reading this and you score tomorrow I want you to celebrate by doing a forward roll followed by 3 star jumps.
Seriously though its something Im sure we'd like to see more often, players getting involved more on these sort of public message boards. As long as we as fans promised to behave that is!!
If players started getting involved in discussion then you'd quickly find that you couldn't shift for sycophants.
I can just see it now, Adam Hammill spends a few hours on a Barnsley message board and totally loses the plot, and ends up getting banned by one of the mods. Absolutely priceless.
I hear Yids particularly looks forward to reading Hemmsy's considered after match musings on his performances
I once tried this; Lee Johnson once said he read the message boards, so I started a thread asking him to prove it by slipping the words "oven glove" into his pre match press conference. He didn't. I lost all faith in him that day.
I reakon winnall used to that's why he spat dummy out for a while just stormed off at end of games instead of clapping the fans didn't celebrate goals ect and he used to and at the time was getting some stick about his overall game on here from some.
