Honestly no. Unless our recruitment strategy seems them worth the investment. Which I doubt the majority aren't.

Why are people not clicking on to the strategy.

We don't sign players anymore who have been released because they are not good enough.

We sign the ones out of contract who are looking for a move up the leagues or a progressive step forward.

Everyone of those players are looking at pay cuts and a step down. They're all has beens, crocks or looking for a last pay day.

None. The average age of that list is about 53.

Wasn't Armand Traore signed from Barcelona on something daft like £80k/week? Could be wrong but sure I remember it being talked about.

Any ways. No wouldn't sign any of that lot. Couple of years ago I would have said yes but seems like majority are wrong side of 30 and looking for a last pay day, or they have been released as they have high wages, or they have terrible injury records.

Quick google and I'm wrong. Was thinking of Adama Traore at villa who's on £60k/week. Played 10 times.....

    Games gone mad....!

Joe Lewis,James Vaughan, Chris Burke,Gordon Greer would improve our squad. We need a blend of youth & experience in championship next season.

Nope id rather us be looking at quality players in league 1 or 2. Someone like Romaine Sawyers ( not necessarily him but players of his ability an age) and that would seem to be the policy we are pushing so happy days.

Romaine Sawyers was in team of the year, but thought he looked garbage in both legs against us. Looked arrogant and lazy. Likes to play centre mid and not sure that's what type of player we need next year.

But if he's better than he showed in those two games I'll trust the scouting team!!

I thought he was very poor first leg but played well for about 45 minutes In second leg. Talking to a few Wallsall lads his hearts not been in it since he decided to leave. Like I said not necessarily him but players like him the better players in Leeague 1 like Moncur, Payne, maybe even O'Dowda at Oxford.

Fair do's. Must have been decent but if he drops off when his heart isn't in a promotion push that says it all.

Moncur looks decent in a poor side. He's more our type of guy.

To be honest would be happy if everyone we signed I had to google. Just like Mawson, Hourihane, Scowen, Davies, Roberts, Williams, etc etc!

Yeah none of those for me. Either too old or will want too much money. Plus the current policy seems to be working. Chances are we'll be looking at the likes of Sawyers, Bradshaw, Moncur etc as they are youngish, at the top of their game and all have sell on value.

Pie in the sky but I'd love to see us go and get Bradley Dack or Kemar Roofe.

I think Adam Hammill has shown that one or two more experienced, talented players can really help a young side push on. Lloyd Dyer and Gordon Greer would be my picks from that list, with any other signings hopefully more in line with the recruitment model we have in place. A lot of those names on there bring back bad memories of journeymen mercenaries from a couple of years back. Stay clear I'd say.

    None of them at all.

    I'd go for

    Bradshaw & Sawyers at Walsall
    Dack at Gillingham
    Kemar Roofe at Oxford
    Webster at Millwall

All would command a fee but we're championship now aren't we haha

We should stick to our successful recruitment policy regarding the scouting and acquisition of young players with potential to develop further. in that case, the only ones which would be worthwhile would be Holmes and Eastwood (as cover for Davies).

Tommy Spurr, Lee Williamson, Andrew Crofts, Kenwyne Jones and Becchio would interest me. Got to admit I havent seen very much of them over the last couple of years but we could certainly do with a bit of experience in the side and I think Crofts or Williamson would be a good fit at the side of CH. A target man option would be ideal too with Becchio or Jones.
