Players wages, anyone know roughly

    how much we pay our players, i was told today that a lot of the PNE reserves are on over 5k a week, i find that hard to believe at the moment

    Average for Championship was about &pound;190k in 2005.</p>

    AR quoted &pound;150k for Reds in Radio De Dar interview before he left the Club.

    RE: 200k per yer = roughly 4k a week nt

    The average is distorted by the high wages of players like Robbie Fowler who I believe was asking for &pound;8k a week and the the players who come down from the Premiership.</p>

    This is balanced out by the players who come up from League One who's average wage is about &pound;68k.</p>

    The actual figures are most likely a bit higher now.</p>
