Can think of Nardiello who failed to live up to expectation. He mucked up a promising career all round.
Don't put all your money on JOS just in case he flops, if we do sign him that is.
    Can you think of others?

Chris Lumsdon was a much better player in his loan spell.

Steele and Betsy were both good player after decent loan spells.

Whilst Nardiello wasn't the same player that came on loan he still scored some very important goals for us.

    ^^^^^this^^^^

I bump into him randomly in a bookshop in London a few years after he left us. Had a bit of a chat basically said he hated all the attention that comes with being a footballer and was happier since he quit.

Apparently he was a great lad who just didn't want to be a footballer, despite his talent.

John Dennis tells a story about when he was in the reserves and a club wanted to sign him, but McCord turned them down, because he said that playing for the reserves on a Wednesday suited him, as it meant he could take his lad fishing at the weekend!
