    I'm going for:

    O' Brien
    O' Grady
    Jennings
    Dawson
    Cranie
    Ramage
    Steele

and that's about it. that's the problem. If Wilson says the defence is to blame, I'd say it's the midfield. Today wasn't as gutting as Hillsborough as we were robbed, but in many ways it was worse, as we were the better side for 20 odd minutes and then just folded. O' Brien, despite his technical limitations, is worth Frimpong, Lawrence and Shea put together as he cares and puts their combined shift in on his own. And thus, we're going down.

Yes, wouldnt disagree with that , but putting a shift in alone wont keep us up, ability will and only Jacob Mellis can look in the mirror tonight

I've tweeted the exact same players minus Steele earlier. I think the youngsters also care but do I think any of Proschwitz, Shea, Frimpong, Kennedy, Lawrence, Pederson & Cwyka care? Not really no

Hassell cares. I really believe that Steele cares too. That's completely aside from his ability

The players we've brought in don't, as was painfully evident today. About as far from the spirit that saved us this time last year as you can imagine

And that is the problem with loan players, it makes no real difference to them what league we're in next year as they wont be here. I'd play youngsters and tell them if we go down we'll have to release the whole acadamy

Aye Dawson really cares about the fans so much he seemed to want to come and give us a cuddle after.

So today was the fault of Proschwitz, Shea, Hunt and Ramage?

3 of them contributed though Hunt was pretty bloody good. I think the general point is a solid one as a fan I never get attached to loan players and I'm sure the players have similar feelings of transience.

load of rubbish, they all care, its the bloody way the game is being played thats wrong, two men in the middle two men out wide thats why we cannot keep the ball for more than 10 seconds at a time, just hitting long high balls all the time, only time we have played well this year was against Huddersfield at home, used wing backs then the week after the last nutmeg of a manager went back to what we had had before and got murdered, the striker O`Grady can`t hold the ball up for any length of time

Do you honestly believe that either of Frimpong or Shea care about us?

They clearly don't give a toss it's symptomatic of the way football has gone elevate the average and then they can't cope when they end up at the level that's appropriate for their abilities.

None of them care half as much as the fans.

Yes I do,they are professonal football players,do you think they go out thinking`I`m going to really piss off those Barnsley fans today?`But to be honest the thing that is really starting to annoy me and no-one is picking up on it is the way we are playing, ball to the full backs and a bit long boot up front to the fella O`Grady, tries to get a head on it,even if he does ball goes loose, opposition gets the ball back and we are under the cosh again,THERE IS NO TRYING TO KEEP THE BALL,and thats cos of the formation,do you agree with that?

Anybody who thinks Frimpong is happy or content or wants to play for us after yesterday must be on the good drugs. Shea should be ecstatic that a player of his limited ability gets to play for us but isn't. There's a difference in being happy to be a footballer with the money that brings and giving a toss about your temporary employer.

with the greatest respect I think your missing the point, players like that are not going to be happy in a team playing the style we are playing

Players like that... Just because they have been signed by Premiershit clubs doesn't necessarily make them any good.

Shea from what I've seen here and from what Stoke fans have seen isn't good enough for the championship. Frimpong a young lad learning the game. Clearly not overloaded with options when Arsenal wanted shut. Again in terms of football his first touch is poor his passing is poor he can tackle when he can be bothered and is a destroyer so that sort of football should actually suit him.
