I've come to the conclusion we aren't good enough to play without wingers. Too many times yesterday we looked very exposed from wide, especially down the right. Stone's wandering inside left Foster to play nanny right back to cover and we cannot do that. Time to drop Stone's I'm afraid and play 4-4-2 with O'Brian on the right wing and Done on the left wing. I felt sorry for Stonesy yesterday, I've played right back without anyone infront of me for the entire match and its frickin hard work especially when your as attack minded as him, would be better either dropping in as a right back or going with wing backs and playing 3 at the back. Problem is, don't think Hill could play a different way, like 99% of managers he has one way of playing and will keep going with it even though its been found out at this level and he's starting to look a bit clueless. I think we have the players and the ethos to do well, passing game and pressing without the ball, but this wingless team couldn't score in a brothel. Oh, and Medo.......what a joke.
