all those thousands of fans walking up Wembley Way before kick off. A scene to cherish, pickle and bottle for ever and ever... it was wonderful.
    HOWEVER.....
Somebody at the side of me made a very, very pertinent observation. He said, "this is fantastic, but look at the Cardiff fans, where are the children? There're aren't any."
This suddenly became so noticeable when you looked at the reds fans in which there was a sizeable percentage of kids, boys and girls, all waving flags, blowing horns etc, compared with the Cardiff fans who seemed to be made up almost entirely of gesturing, abusive, coarse tossers.
I'm trying not to be biased but as I say, it was so bloody noticeable.
    Any one else see this?

I made that point earlier, however, A Cardiff poster made a very viable point in that we were allowed 4 tickets per season ticket holder. which allowed th opportunity to but family seats together, whereas theirs was 1 or 2 per season ticket. I have to say the cardiff fans we came into contact with were very volatile anti-English and were looking for trouble at every opportunity. I know there are decent Cardiff fans out there, and indeed, posted on here today. but that was my experience.

Even the cardiff fans admit this

bluebird or somebody said earlier that they had no children or old people there which shows something about their club doesnt it.

Wish I could've joined you, mate

But we were stuck on the coach in heavy traffic. You never know. I might've changed the habit of a lifetime and bought a round! Then again................................!!

I saw some kids as we passed a mini bus on the way back. Under 10s with cans of carlsberg, and those that hadn't were too busy 'gesturing' to reds coaches at they passed.

We call it as we see it - some had good experiences, some were disappointed with the bluebird's following. I don't remember any comments like this after the last game we played at Wembley

I'd like to think we'd have been magnanimous in victory ...............

Just been talkin to my cousin and we said the same

lot more family groups in the reds contingent, there did seem to be more than their fair share of trouble looking types in the cardiff sections, all the way along wembley way a lot of their fans were a lot more threatening, although as has been said there are reds fans who do fall into the same category, their fans just appeared to be more intimidating, and yes, the Bluebirds wwho have been on here all sound great and are a credit to their club

    Closure of the North Circ

2 lanes shut due to roadworks and accident in the third. Not being able to find the parking space we'd booked due to this. Trying to find the boozer. Other than that not really

was with a load of cardiff fans in the pub (just out of town centre)

all looked like meatheads. all sound and all friendly. Pub began with an "I" and was between wemblet and travelodge. Stewards in speakeasy after game said a pub had been smashed up (cardiff smashing up their own). anyone else heard owt?
