It will be a massive step back and be a massive step in taking us down this season!! Keep him and we have a fighting chance of doing a little better than just trying to stay up!!

Hold on to him at whatever cost. I would only sell him if the offer was 2.5 million or more + sell on fee of 20%!!

I supose McCann would come in then, but he isn't the same player Howard is and won't get as many goals!!

I don't know where all this talk about Howard leaving Oakwell has come from. It's always been the same on this board when a transfer deadline approaches. One of our best players always comes up for speculation. Only and only if a offer came in that it was impossible to refuse, would we sell him. Not only that Shep and co would be squirming in their beds at night with the thoughts of anarchy, persecution, and threats from the fans. Howard will be staying. :)

Had no choice with him ........ it was in his contract ......

....... that he could go if a 'bigger club' came in for him, that was probably the only way we got him in the first place

Who knows what release clauses are in the contract Howard signed at the end of last season.
