    How on earth has a minute or two minutes' silence and respect been replaced by hand clapping ?
    So this is where this country has now descended to, probably in deference to the minority of the couldn't-give-a-toss brigade who think that it is some sort of happy hour and that in their tiny minds the only way to pay due respect is to dance up and down in some moronic charade.
    Silence and memory for loved and lost ones.
    For God's sake, it's only for one minute each year.
    Can we not manage that any more.

    I am right with you Sir on this matter, consider...

    doing as I have done, phone and e-mail the club and ask them to reconsider this action.. I have done so already and others are doing it too.
