As you know I'm not 100% at the moment but I've just received some bad news about a little girl from the post pals site that I post links to.

She is just 5 years old, has been battling cancer but unfortunately it has taken too much of a hold on her little body. The Doctors have sent her home and can't do anything more for her. She is going downhill very fast.

Would any of you be able to send a "Thinking of you message" to her, her 6 year old brother Louis or her Family in general just to give them some support?

    The link is

    Thanks,

    Laura

Hi Laura. I've just read all about Samantha and i am in tears. She is one special girl. I hope as many people as possible send her and her family messages to let them know that people do care.
Also please look after yourself and i hope you get over your recent illness as soon as possible. Lindsay

Unfortunately Samantha is one child of many

on that site (and elsewhere) who is seriously ill. Laura gets so upset when the children lose their battle to live as she takes it personally "that she is healthy" compared to some. It's the same when she goes to or into hospital she always looks out for the youngsters.

Also, would any of you like to sign

the petition to "Conquer Childhood Cancer". Currently in the UK the majority of research into childhood cancers relies on charitable donations. Children in the UK deserve the right to the best treatment available. Government funds should be available to fund vital research into childhood cancer.

Thank you to all who sent messages to Samantha and Family.

Samantha lost her battle against cancer last night. She had just turned five.
