Mr Allen don't sack Brian Laws!</p><div class="article"> <div class="articleText"> <div class="articleHeadlineAndBody" id="articleHeadlineAndBody"><h3 class="headline">Laws: Players Have To Pull Together </h3><div id="lastEditDate" class="lastEditDate">Posted on:Tue 18 Sep 2007</div><div id="articleBody" class="articleBody"> A dejected Brian Laws admitted his team got what they deserved as the Owls nightmare start to the season continued against Burnley.</p> Trailing 1-0 at half time, the home side conceded a second just after the break and there was no way back for Wednesday.</p> Speaking after the 2-0 defeat, the Owls manager said: "In the past losses after games I have said 'we didn't deserve it' but today I am going to say we deserved what we got. We looked like we were rabbits in the headlights at times, we were panicking and the confidence drained quickly.</p> "When you have lost five games there is that fragile mentality, and they are young players. They are a good bunch of players and last year you saw how good they can be (when they are) full of confidence but now you've seen how bad they can be without it.</p> "It's going to take a huge task and a huge call from the players to pull together and get us out of this mire. Tonight we didn't look like we were going to get back into it and it is the third game in which we haven't scored but it's the first time we haven't really created the chances to force their goalkeeper into a decent save."</p> The lack of experience in Laws' team showed on Tuesday night and losing Steve Watson at half time with a back injury meant the players on the pitch were even more inexperienced.</p> Laws said: "There's no point in slaughtering the players because when you're fragile you're fragile and the only way you are going to turn this around is by re-grouping as a bunch of players and when you get a bit of luck and the result you need it will be an unbelievable result for the players. </p> "The second goal came just after half time. My most reliable player of the season so far (Frank Simek) has made a mistake; that sums our season up and you could see the confidence drain from the players."</p> Laws said his side may have to change their style of play to get the result they desperately need and he will look into the possibility of bringing in experience to give the team an edge in coming games.</p> "We may have to change our style of play and our philosophy because after tonight's game, our confidence has drained that badly that I don't think I've got the players to go out there and play entertaining football to win games. I think we're going to have to scrap one out and defend as a team."</p> "At the moment we haven't got any experience and I am going to have to look very quickly at whether there are any experienced players out there that we can bring in to help us through this torrid and difficult time."</p></div></div> </div></div> </p>
Yes we are. We're a much bigger club than you bunch of dole claiming scrubbers. We may have the same number of points as Slovenia's Eurovision Song Contest Entry "Mush Bang A Bang My Ding Dong Doo", but we'll still be in the Premier League in two years. Your crappy little club, on the other hand, will be in League Two by then. At least we'll get 6 points from you lot - again. That'll be a start.
