    Unfortunately I have to agree, he isn't a footballer. He is like the kid at school who juggles the ball for fun, put him in a team though and he is useless. He may provide 3 bits of magic for us this season but the other 99.9% is dire.

    Sub against better sides. Tompole deserves a start next few games.

    In a team playing well McCourt will be a stand out star but in a team playing poorly he's not what is needed

    For once, I completely agree with Hemsy. This is always the risk with a luxury player. We're in a dogfight, and right now he's a complete waste of a shirt. Another diabolical performance today. And Flicker says 'he gave Paddy McCourt to Barnsley Football Club'. That about sums it up.

    Agree. He needs better quality around him. I'm a big fan of his but in this team he looks as bad as the rest.
