That game today just had banana skin written all over it. We weren't great, well at times we weren't good at all but thankfully a lovely pass from Kent into the path of Armstrong put us one up and that was that. Clearly we need some players in. a passer in the centre would be nice and something else upfront. Today wasn't a Armstrong day but saying that he could have had 3. Not sure why Bradshaw's the one running in behind and Armstrong deep like it was for long periods in the first half. Well done to James and Evans. From what i've seen in the junior games I think Evans would be okay in the first team but we need a left footed option and I don't understand why we haven't got one in yet. Davies was good today. Really pleased we got him signed up on a long term deal.
Considering what's been happening at the club and the changes and the strangers we've had to install .I thought it was a good performance tbh . But I wasn't expecting much and before kick off I would have taken a draw.
Spit on analysis there. When we play Armstrong in the right place and play to his strengths like for the goal he becomes a different player.
I spit on your analysis, glasshopper! You come flom Yorkshire Widing of Rest, and dare to say to bolough of Barnsrey that skin of banana araits? (this is probably racist)
The sort of win that good sides grind out away from home. Agree with what you say, was a banana skin. We were resolute, and thankfully clinical with the chance when it came. Foundation for the win today set by Roberts and MacDonald. Be great to follow it up in the next two home games.
Sort of game we used to be on the losing side of by the sounds of it. Excellent that we're now the team grinding out these results. It's all a bit surreal this but long may it continue. Chuffed. Sent from my Kestrel using Tapatalk
