It's something we need to start and do. Apparently Steele made a good save in first half according to the sky man who was at Oakwell. But other than that and the freekick i really can't remember them testing Barnsley that much. Was happy with Barnsley, thought we looked better in the second half especially when we went one up front. COG's so good at holding the ball although he'll have left Oakwell yesterday wondering how he wasn't collecting a goal bonus or two. Really impressed with Frimpong, got in and around them, very strong and came out so much with the ball in the one on one battles. I said yesterday that I didn't think it was a yellow card. Good on the ball too, first touch is very good and him and Mellis should be able to build a relationship in there that could scare teams at the top never mind in the relegation scraps. Barnsley made a few mistakes in the final third, it's a but of if but maybe but if Jennings passed across to O'brien we could have gone two up very quickly or COG passed it back to Frimpong we could have fancied putting the reds two up with the goalkeeper on the edge of the 18 yard box. What did people think about the handball?
He made a couple of decent saves, at a stretch, in the first half. In the second he made two saves that were equally deserving of a mention on Sky at your Grans. It wasn't a world class goalkeeping performance by any stretch, but he did what he had to and contributed to the clean sheet.
Even your gran knows more about football than you. It was a cracking save, saw it again on TV this morning and the missus even said it was a really good save
I would like to point out Luke's domineering punch through a congested penalty box to the safest possible part of the pitch. And that Hemsie's Gran knows more about football that Hemsie.
Didn't you go to the game Phil? If you did then how did you miss the two top class saves that Luke made?
