We created plenty of chances to win the game, unfortunately we gifted them all 4 goals due to lack of concentration, we must learn to prevent that which will take time. Unfortunate for Winnall, but Watkins was probably out MOTM, caused them problems. Ipswich were bang average and I don't expect them to pull up any trees this season. I'm not going to comment on individual performances, but I will say each player showed promise. Sent from my iPhone
There is no doubt that we will be on he end of a few hammering a, but I feel we have enough attacking options to see us safe. We are in for one exciting season provided we stick to our principles and give it a proper go. Sent from my iPhone
More like conceding 1 to an average team and 3 to a very good player but yeah the defence need to be alot more composed
No panic... just lets see how long it takes folk to realise that our defending is not up to it... mid-field included
No need for panic just yet. The first game of the season is always a funny one. Conceding 4 goals is a bit alarming considering we did that just once last season (if I remember right). I do think we've enough goals in us to win games. I think we're in for a very exciting albeit nerve racking season. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Bang average? Ipswich finished 7th last season and season before in the play offs they are consistently in or around the championship play offs hardly bang average.
I don't think been in and around the championship play offs for the past 2 season's, with a good manager is bang average. I think they will be in or around the play offs again.
Don't we have to play quite a lot of Championship teams, until we can decide who is average? You don't find an average in a total of one, even I know that... Not sure what the bang bit was about.
Yes we all know that but over the past 2 season's 7th and 5th isn't bang average 12th out of 24 teams would be BANG average
To be fair to Zazlos, he did say 'this season'. Which still makes no sense. Good analysis of the 'bang' bit though. I get that now and will back Ipswich heavily to finish 12th.
