They've had 6 so far and missed 1
With 2 points added from the otherwise draw and 1 from the otherwise defeat it's given them 5pts extra so far.
Without them they'd be 4th...behind us.
    Just saying.

resigned to us not getting one this season now. IF we were to go up...I wonder how many teams will have been promoted from L1, without having a single penalty awarded in the season?

Perfect scenario; we go all season without a league penalty, fail to get automatic promotion and end up in a playoff final against the Wendies. Time is running out with the score tied and Cole is brought down on the edge of the box, Luca Connell strokes home the pen to send us up.

    Now wouldn't that be great?

I actually wonder who our nominated penalty taker is? Maybe @YTBFC knows.

I'm guessing that it's Cadden, with Phillips second in line. After that, maybe Kane, Norwood or Williams. I'd be pretty confident about any of that lot burying it from 12 yards.

We’ve had three this season in the cups. One was taken by a player who has now left, Callum Styles. One by a player who doesn’t play half as much as he did at the start of the season, Josh Benson. And the third was taken by a player who doesn’t start, Tedic. I’d assume none of those players are first choice so I’d probably go for Norwood or Cole. Norwood for the experience and the power he can hit the ball with or Cole because he’s the top scorer.

Completely forgot about the one in the FA Cup. Just watched the highlights again, it was actually a pretty soft pen. I'd have been fuming if it had been given against us!

Got to be Norwood for penalties. He's the most lethal, clinical, actual striker of the ball. If pens were 25/30 yards out then perhaps Phillips! But for me, 100% Norwood, especially with the form he's been on

If we're talking power, I'd let Liam Kitching step up. Even if it was straight at the keeper, it would go in.

It could also smash the cladding off the roof... why do you think the east stand shut in the first place?!

What if, by some fluke, we have to settle for the playoffs & it goes to penalties?
We have young players who don’t even know what that white spot is for..

If we are given a penalty, I hope we already have a healthy lead in the game / play off tie, because we all know what will happen!

They watch the ground staff paint the penalty spots and just assume they needed to use up the last of a pot

I dread us getting our first one in the play off final. Nailed on we'd miss it.
That being said I'd definitely want Norwood to take it.

We won't get to take one. It'll just be 3-0
