Official coach will be around £1250 with the way fuel prices are going.

Delayed advertising I think to let all regular overnighters book on first. Plus couldn't advertise until hotel prices confirmed. Someone rang 1 minute after fixture announced to see how much it would be on trip.

It’s possible to do a round day trip by rail. Anyone chosen that option?

You cant do it from Barnsley - you can get there if you leave Barnsley just after 7 but the last train back leaves at 16:37
You can get back to Sheffield - the 18:27 gets in just before Midnight but it doesn't look all that practical to me - also its £180 return

I was thinking of posting this, as I've used this a couple of times. But, I *think* the big disadvantage is that if you're changing trains and a connection fails, it buggers you up.

In all honesty, I haven't been arsed to read the terms and conditions.

If your ticket has the departure time on for the return then you will get back to Sheffield they’d have to honour that be it by bus taxi … the trouble would be the outbound and getting to see the game but that looks ok in that if you miss connection there will be other trains? £112 lot of brass , not for me, I’d have to tie it in with some other pleasure
